Moreleta Village Market: A Market Under The Trees
Few things are better than slowly strolling past various goods on offer at a market with a hot cup of moerkoffie in your hand. This was our experience at the colourful Moreleta Village Market.
While the market is a popular spot to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, brunch or lunch, it's also where you can find foods that aren't available elsewhere. Sample tasty wheat and gluten free biscuits that contain no dairy or eggs, cherry Turkish Delight or mini red velvet cakes. If you're in the mood for something savoury, try a curry with a roti made on the spot. Perhaps you'd like to up your adventurousness level and get yourself some oven-ready snails to have at home!
That's just the tip of the iceberg of the food stalls. There are also plenty of homeware vendors selling pillows to rugs and wall hangings, as well as many different fashion items and jewels to admire and buy as gifts or for yourself. Then for the bargain hunters, there are a few stalls selling vintage items and books.
What better way to find exactly what you're looking for and support the local makers, bakers and creators by visiting the Moreleta Village Market this Sunday?
